Hotel picks up two awards at The Scottish Hotel Awards 2023

We are delighted to share with you the news that Chef Cameron Atkinson won the rising star young chef of the year at the Scottish Hotel awards in Glasgow on Sunday October 29th and the Hotel itself won Town Hotel of the year at the star studded event.

Cameron joined the Selkirk Arms team 5 years ago as a modern apprentice, worked through his apprenticeship to Commis chef before being promoted to Chef de Partie earlier this year. A popular member of the team with a great work ethic and broad shoulders of responsibility considering he’s only 25 and now working his way to be Sous Chef. Many congratulations Cameron - we’ll be having a big party soon to celebrate - we’re all so proud of you.

And a massive well done to all the team, picking up Town Hotel of the Year National winner was a huge team effort and we’ll be having a wee party to celebrate very soon.
