Homemade Burger with Galloway Lodge Chilli jam, bacon and brie

 

Burger Patty  – makes 6 x 7oz

1 kg beef steak mince

100g bread crumbs

1 egg

2 Tbsp beef extract

2 Tbsp chopped parsley 

Salt & pepper

·      Place mince, bread crumbs and parsley in a large mixing bowl

·      Whisk egg and mix together with beef extract 

·      Mix the mince and the egg mix together, season with salt & pepper 

·      Fry off a small piece to check for seasoning

·      Form into 6 burger patties

Pan fry until golden brown on each side then transfer to the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes - then add a spoon of Galloway Lodge Chilli Jam onto of each, a slice of free cooked bacon and a wedge of brie cheese. Return to the oven for a further 5 minutes and then serve in a burger bun.
